Good morning,

i will change my petrol engines "Volvo Penta 151b" to diesel engines volvo kad 32. Has somebody informations about the results? Or mayby Informations about one volvo kad 42 in that boat?

I have a singel AQAD 41 (200 bhp) in my 815 SSE. I think that a perfect engine for the boat. It gives a topspeed of 30 knots (more than enough for us), and comfortable cruisingspeed at 20-25 knots. At 20 knots we are doning just 2900-3000 rev pr min. At top we have 3850.

My opinion is that boat is to small to have to dieselengins, but I might be wrong. Have you consider the new D4-210 bhp? That might be a very sensible choice, but ofcourse it does not have the sound of a six-cylinder engine.
