What is the recommendation in regards to batteries during the winter?
Can they handle freezing temperatures if fully charged?
Or do people remove them from the boat during winter?
Thanks

Battery storage in the winter

Re: Battery storage in the winter
Hello
It is no problem to store a fully charged battery in boat during the winter, if my memory isn´t too bad it tells me that down to -30° -40° celsius will cause no problem if the battery is in good condtion.
But make sure that all main switches are turned off, or better, disconnect the battery so it can´t drain by accident and check the battery a few times during winter if possible.
