Hello iam from the uk and have just brought a 1973 fjord 27. I boat on the great Ouse, iam still finding my way round it and how things work. The boat has been a bit neglected for a couple of years as the owner died.
Will have plenty of questions I dare say in time.
Cheers john

Re: Brought myself a fjord 27 and love it
hello John
I also have a Selcruiser (I am assuming yours is a Selcruiser - I think there was another 27 as well). Mine is just about to come out of the yard having had a new engine fitted. Cost me more than the boat but I think the old girl is worth it. Supposedly built like tanks. I intend doing coastal stuff in mine with the ultimate goal of harbour hopping all round the UK.
I have just got a new berth at Goole which is on the other Ouse, coincidentally. Once I get her out of the yard, my first big trip will probably down to the Wash and back via the coast and then Lincoln. Is that anywhere near you?
